摘    要：For a topological group G, let BG be its classifying space. The cohomology of BG is the main tool to classify principal G-bundles. In this talk, I first review some classical results on the cohomology of the classifying spaces of classical Lie groups, as well as the projective classical groups. Among these, the most challenging problem is the calculation of the cohomology of BPU(n), the classifying space of the projective unitary group PU(n), whose study related to many areas, such as twisted K-theory, Azumaya algebras, and so on. I will report our recent result on this problem.

简    介：范飞飞，华南师范大学副研究员。主要研究领域为代数拓扑与代数组合，其研究成果发表在Science China-Mathematics; Moscow Mathematical Journal; Journal of Topology & Analysis等期刊。2015年获南开大学博士学位，先后在中科院数学所、中山大学等科研机构从事博士后等研究工作；主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年基金项目，广东省自然科学基金面上项目等。
