摘要:It is a folk belief in general relativity that if matter is sufficiently concentrated into a finite volume, the gravitational system ultimately collapses to a black hole. The trapped surfaces conjecture attempts to concretize such a belief saying that large mass enclosed in a small volume has to be trapped. In this talk, we make a mathematical voyage towards this conjecture and try to see how dense a star can be.

谢纳庆,复旦大学数学科学学院副教授,理学博士(复旦大学,2007年)、理学学士(浙江大学,2002年),从事数学广义相对论研究。主持国家自然科学基金青年基金一项,面上基金一项,在国际著名杂志, 例如Physical Review Letters,Nuclear Physics B ,Classical and Quantum Gravity 等, 发表学术论文十余篇。
