摘要: In this talk, we survey the unified treatment for various criteria on classical problems (including uniqueness, recurrence, ergodicity, exponential ergodicity, strong ergodicity, as well as extinction probability etc.) for single birth processes, which follows from a new explicit representation of the solution to the Poisson equation. Meanwhile, a new representation of stationary distribution for ergodic single death processes and the mean occupation time for transient single birth processes are presented. This talk is mostly based on a joint work with Professor Mu-Fa Chen.

报告人简介:
张余辉,教授,博士生导师。1990年北京大学概率论与数理统计系本科毕业,1996年北京师范大学数学科学学院获博士学位并留校任教,2004年聘为教授,2009年评为北京市优秀教师。曾任教学副院长和中国概率统计学会常务理事等,现为教育部高等学校大学数学课程教学指导委员会委员。
主要从事随机过程及交叉领域的理论研究,包括交互作用无穷粒子系统马氏过程、跳过程的稳定性理论、耦合方法、对偶方法,泛函不等式和特征值估计等,特别是对单生过程有较完整的研究。
