报告题目：Continuous and Discontinuous Galerkin Methods for the Variational Inequality Problems

摘 要：

The basic idea of continuous and discontinuous Galerkin methods is using finite dimensional space to approximate infinite dimensional space. In this talk, we start with a discussion of weak and discrete formulations of a model elliptic boundary value problems, followed by the introductions of implementations of these methods. We will also present some theoretical results of the variational inequalities arising in the fluid mechanics. Numerical examples are given to show the convergence behaviors of these methods.

简 介：

荆菲菲，西北工业大学助理教授，2010年本科毕业于河南大学，2017年获得西安交通大学博士学位，2016年1月至6月访问美国爱荷华大学。研究工作包括流体力学中的变分不等式问题、高效高精度数值方法、形状优化控制等，在J. Sci. Comput., Appl. Math. Letters等国际知名期刊发表论文十余篇，目前主持国家自然科学基金青年基金和陕西省自然科学基础研究计划项目各一项，曾参与国家自然科学基金3项。
