摘要：In this series of lectures, we will focus on the development of the Manin conjecture for delPezzo surfaces, which predicts the distribution of rational points on such surfaces. We will give an overview of the Manin conjecture and show how tools in analytic number theory can be used to study quantitative problems in Diophantine geometry. Special cases including a singular delPezzo surface of degree 4 and the Fermat cubic surface will be discussed in detail.
